Third Grade
Third graders begin the school year with learning how to read notes on the treble, or G, clef. We have a rhyme that we recite, using our hand, that helps us to remember the lines and spaces of the staff. In case you forget, it goes like this: "EGBDF, EGBDF, these are the lines on the G clef. FACE, FACE, these are the spaces, yessirree. And the president lives in Washington, D C."
We will be playing recorders throughout the third grade school year.
